Album Spotlight; Window Killer by Turnip

Window Killer by Turnip

I’m not sure where to begin with this one except to tell you that it’s been blowing my mind since my good friend Simon recommended it to me a few days ago. This one is a little bit out of here, it doesn’t stick to one particular sound which I think makes for a very intriguing album. It’s a heavy blues album at heart but doesn’t have any problems branching out and adding some heavy psych, a little jamming, some southern rock, a little doom, and a hell of a lot of rock. This one is certainly a surprise hit and one of the better releases of 2016 thus far.
